The Optimum MRO system includes support for the ViPen vibrating pen

The CDC Group has released an update of the MRO system Optimum SUMS (Mobile Specialists Management System). The mobile application of the system, which the field workers work with, now supports the portable ViPen vibrometer.

The compact device, made in the form of a marker, simultaneously measures important diagnostic parameters - the root-mean-square value (RMS) of the vibration velocity in the range from 10 to 1000 Hz, the amplitude of vibration acceleration in the range of up to 1.5 kHz and the temperature of the equipment. The measurement results are transferred to the Optimum SUMS mobile application via the Bluetooth wireless link.

Comparing measurements with standard values, the system can automatically determine on the spot the presence of defects in the units and assemblies of machines and prevent equipment failure.

Alexey Goryachev, CDС General Director says, “It is important that the persons responsible for the operation of the equipment receive accurate information about the monitored parameters from a verified measuring device. After synchronization with the server part of the system, information is accumulated, which allows predicting the development of vibration and more accurately planning the timing of equipment repairs”.

The device is designed and manufactured by the Russian LLC PVF "Vibro-Center", has a verification certificate, in accordance with document VTs.402243.028 MP using standards per. No. 3.2.VLK.0002.2018 (RE 2 category).
