Automated Planning of Routes for Business Development Managers at the Home Credit Bank

The CDC Group has implemented in the Home Credit Bank Optimum GIS, the geoinformation system enables automating routes of the bank’s more than 600 business development manager all over Russia.

CDC specialists have successfully integrated the Optimum GIS solution (the 'Routing ++' module) into the SPM (Sales Performance Management), the bank’s corporate information system built on the Oracle Siebel platform that includes the CRM module and operation planning system.

This solution automatically (i. e. without involvement of users) set the geography of managers’ routes in the most efficient way and enables one to rapidly control their current activities. The business development managers’ job involves frequent trips and contacts with partners. They are responsible for sales volumes and expansion of the network of outlets where the bank’s credits are provided. The list of the specific feature sin generating routes includes account of vacations, holidays, time zones, and referrals and changes in the schedules of mobile agents.

As part of implementing the Optimum GIS system, mobile agents were equipped with tablet PCs to which geographically optimized routes recommended for visiting are downloaded via an Internet connection. In February 2014, the project that covers the entire territory of Russia was successfully completed.
