Our company is engaged in wholesale and retail trade in the Republic of Azerbaijan. A project to automate van selling and pre selling units began in March 2007. We purchased pocket computers based on Palm and ASUMT Optimum + with the main modules: "Route", "Clients", "Trade," Printing. In about a month, we implemented and integrated with the 1C: Trade and Warehouse accounting system.
As a result of the introduction of a mobile trading system, labor productivity increased by 15%, as the service time of a point of sale decreased by 5-10 minutes, and instead of 20 points, sales representatives began to visit 3-4 more daily.
The order processing time for each sales representative was reduced by 15-20 minutes, as a result of which we got more free time for all kinds of analytical reports.
The implementation of the OPTIMUM system was carried out by MBS (note: a subdivision of H&E Business Solutions, CDC dealer in Azerbaijan). Also, MBS provides technical support.
